CAROLYN ANDERSON-HANSEN
Physician Assistant

Carolyn Anderson-Hansen is a Physician Assistant with nearly 20 years of experience. She was born in England, lived in the Middle East during her early years, but was raised in Rhode Island. She received a BS degree in Education at Brigham Young University, then graduated from Wayne State University with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

After graduating from Wayne State, she and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked for 12 years as a PA in a Level II trauma center. Six years ago, they relocated to Utah where she continued her work as a PA in the Emergency Department at Utah Valley Hospital. Her broad experience in emergency medicine gives her a unique perspective and skill set which greatly benefits the patients she cares for at Summit.

She and her husband, Jason, have 4 active children. They enjoy skiing, swimming, playing tennis, and hiking together. In her free time, she trains for Ironman events.
