Surgery Day Communication and Scheduling

As your surgery approaches, you will receive communication from both our office and the hospital or surgery center to help you prepare. These touchpoints are designed to ensure everything is coordinated and that you feel confident and ready for your procedure.

  • In addition to communication from our office, the hospital or surgery center where your procedure is scheduled will also reach out to you. Multiple teams are involved to make sure your care is well coordinated.

  • You can expect to hear from the hospital or surgery center about one week before your procedure. During this call, they will review your medical history, medications, and provide any additional instructions.

  • You will be contacted again the day before your surgery with final details. If your surgery is scheduled for a Monday, this call will typically take place on Friday.

  • During your final call, you will receive your arrival time, directions to the facility, parking information, and guidance on what to expect. This is also a good time to ask any last-minute questions.
