Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) – Part-Time Internship (Lehi, UT)
Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) are the medical assistants in our clinic and play a vital role in our efficiency and patient experience. Responsibilities include taking vitals, rooming patients, collecting medical history, preparing the SOAP note, and assisting with other clinical tasks as needed. PCCs also have opportunities to learn beyond day-to-day clinic work, including shadowing surgeons, PAs, and NPs, as well as participating in interdisciplinary collaboration during our weekly Grand Rounds.
Schedule: Clinic runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Shifts are assigned in AM or PM blocks.
Pay: $14/hour
Flexibility: We’re happy to work around school and other job schedules. This position is ideal for pre-med or pre-PA students.
Preferred:
Currently enrolled in a university healthcare program or recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5
Completed a university anatomy course with a B or better
Ability to complete a 2-hour unpaid working interview as part of the selection process
