TODD PITTS
Orthopedic Surgeon

Summit Brain, Spine and Orthopedics is happy to welcome board- certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Todd Pitts, to the practice. Fellowship-trained in reconstructive surgery, Dr. Pitts specializes in shoulder, knee and hip replacement and reconstruction. He collaborates closely with family practice physicians and other specialists to provide the best outcomes for patients.

Dr. Pitts grew up in a small town in Utah where he spent most of his time playing soccer and enjoying the outdoors. He graduated from high school and attended Brigham Young University – Hawaii where he played on their NCAA Men’s soccer team.

He then served a church mission in Raleigh, North Carolina for two years, and when he returned, he finished his college education at the University of Utah, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science.

While at the U, he met his beautiful wife, Jessica. They made their way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended medical school at The Medical College of Wisconsin. He and his family moved to San Antonio to complete a 5-year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

The family then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where Dr. Pitts completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship focusing on hip, knee and shoulder replacement and reconstruction at The CORE Institute.

Along the way, Todd and Jessica had four girls who keep them busy and are the center of their world. After living all over the country, they are thrilled to return home to Utah. They look forward to serving the community, cheering on their girls in soccer, and enjoying the mountains.
